MISSION POST: Maros An - Day 48 - Private
Jay had her padd out as she headed down to the shuttle bay, reading over the mission briefing one last time. The information provided still seemed a little scarce. Nevertheless, she thought she had a fairly solid idea of what she was going to be doing while they were down there. The more time-consuming part of the whole affair would be testing samples for radiation or pollutant damage back in her lab on the ship. Today's outing, as she understood it, was to one of the factories where the Icarium was processed and refined. It would be a prime site for any such environmental damage to be occurring.
She tucked the padd away as she came through the doors into the shuttle bay, looking around for the shuttle which would be taking the sciences away team down. The bay itself was a hive of activity, mechanics and pilots and away team members hurrying back and forth with an air of purpose. She nodded in satisfaction as she spotted someone she knew and walked through the crowd toward the same shuttle.
"Sciences?" she asked the pilot as she climbed aboard, pausing in the airlock. He nodded a quick affirmative and she continued the rest of the way in, murmuring greetings to her fellow away team members as she took her seat.
