Life was exhausting, regardless of location. Life on a starship where things seemed to go wrong regularly and without apology. And it was only the first week. Exhausting usually led to notions of sleep. Exhausting for Christine Chapel meant no chance in all the universe of her sleeping naturally, so she might as well make the most of her time.
The most of her time was, apparently, being able to be found around midnight in a place she didn't work. Her shift was only a few hours away, really, but her mind had decided cookies were more important. And so they were. Sugar cookies, to be exact, in cute little shapes and covered with sparkles. While they baked, she sat on the counter, watching, and singing to herself.
