Sulu was finally getting some downtime. Alpha shift was over and they'd finally be relieved by the beta shift. He was free for a few hours to do whatever he liked.
He pushed his sleeves up to his elbows, cooled down a little and finally let himself relax a bit more. First thing was first: food. He was always hungry after a shift.
With that though, Sulu headed towards the mess hall, replicated a tray of food and found somewhere to sit. He leaned back into his chair with a happy sigh. After a few hours worrying about everything - he always worried - it was nice just to be able to let it all go.
Some company while he ate wouldn't be a bad thing either. With that thought in mind, he looked around for a face he recognised.
