Konichiwa, laptop-san!

I am now the proud owner of a marvelous new Dell laptop. It is SHIIIIINNYYYY. :D It's really nice, and I get to order an awesome skin for it soon. I'm in the middle of transferring all three gazillion gigabytes of data onto this computer, which is gonna take a while, and then I have to wipe my old one clean so I can get rid of it easily - probably to my mom's school or something. But for now, I have my new shiny.

Now I just gotta name it. :D

Anyways. Nothing much new on this end, just continuing to excavate my room and pack and buy. Gah. I had to set up an entirely new bank account at a credit union too, so that I don't end up paying a couple hundred bucks in ATM fees.

I was at Borders on Monday, and I got an awesome new book there - Musicophilia, by a guy named Oliver Sacks. It's actually pretty cool; it deals with how music affects and is linked to our brains - it talks about synthensia, how music is processed in the mind and why it affects our emotions, how electrical currents can mess with our brain processes and awaken potential that before we couldn't access. It's really amazing, it goes into the whole emotional and psychological aspect of music as well as the scientific. I'm kinda surprised by how interesting it is. This is the kind of science I LIKE! XD

Yeah. I'm a band geek.

HOLY SHRIMPSICLES!
