COLLEGE STUFF!
My schedule for zee coming semester:
9:05 - 10:00 A.M.: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - Theory of Music; Tuesday and Thursday - Sighting Singing and Ear Training
10:10 - 11:05 A.M.: Monday and Wednesday - Class Piano
1:00 - 3:00 P.M.: Monday and Wednesday - Honors English
5:30 - 7:30 P.M.: Monday and Wednesday - College Algebra (BLEAGH); Tuesday - Taekwondo (YAY!)
On Monday, I get my private lessons added in on Tuesday at noon-ish. It's a good schedule, I think. One class on Friday and two on Thursday, which gives me lots of time for going places/studying/rehearsing/sleeping. Plus, I have no classes in the middle of the day, which is marvelous - and if I go home for the weekend, I can get picked up fairly early and drive the two hours home.
The only thing that sucks? I'll have to get up at 7:45 in the morning. Every. Freaking. Day. I am NOT a morning person. Not in the slightest. I am, in fact, clinically nocturnal. But oh well. I'll survive.
Anyways, other than that...I am busy excavating my room (literally) and packing everything I own (not quite so literally) and doing my best not to haul every single book I own to campus with me (excruciatingly painful). Most of my dorm essentials are here already - I'm getting a microwave and minifridge soon, and laptop should be here within the week. I talked to my roommate yesterday...she seems...OK. Nice enough, but kinda uppity and lax on the room prep. Which would be the reason why I'm spending two hundred bucks on the microwave and fridge instead of being helped out a bit. This annoys me.
But maybe I'm wrong about her, and she'll turn out to be better than my first impression. At any rate, I hope the people we share our bathroom with (it's two people a room with a cojoining bathroom) are nice.
I'm going to go continue my archaelogical dig now. :D
