Fish out of water
Sora had been out of her cryo-sleep pod for only a few hours, but she was already feeling more confused and overwhelmed than she had in a very long time. This was stranger than Utopia Academy, and that was saying something. She'd apparently been asleep in some sort of pod for a while, and upon awakening someone had stuck a slimy creature of some sort in her ear, and after a briefing of what exactly was going on, where she was, and why she couldn't go back...
...here she was in the cafeteria, looking at a highly unappetizing brick of food... matter.
Sora liked food. She sometimes ate so fast that she couldn't even taste what she was swallowing. But this was enough to give even her pause.
She poked the brick.
