(no subject)
I just dreamed I was in a large house w many rooms (recurring, I told you or maybe you forgot) but the house had been remodeled into a greenhouse and farm. I was there before the remodel and I ended up meeting up with you in what used to be the living room. The fire place was closed, I described where the former furniture was while pointing through what was now plants and gardening tools. It was a sunny place. Not dark wood like the last dream w you in it. You started to tell me a story. That I can't remember anymore :/ and I didn't understand why you were telling me because you already had. I was more eager, like a child, to talk about forgiveness. I was sitting close to you, who was standing, craning to listen but circling around you. You were very comfortable with this action of mine and focused on your story that didn't seem to be illustrating your point. (I lost the details in waking up) when you were done, I said, I know. let's go. We clamored through the clutter of tools to take care of all the budding life when we came to a handmade raised chicken coop. It contained only chicks. We were behind it, where there was an imperfect door that did not fit the opening, like someone made it with wood scraps. There were other young people peering through the plexi-glass on the other side. But the baby chick's were for chicken nuggets. They were all being smashed, delicately for food and my cat, whose face I couldn't see was doing the killing. Someone unseen, only their hand was overseeing the action and stringing together all the flattened but clean yellow bodies. We knew it was just for nourishment and it was the only way to get such tender meat. I was happy and proud to see my cat. I wanted to let him out of the coop but I had to wait. Then I woke up. I have to do this or I won't be able, or don't think I will be able to fall back asleep. I don't usually dream so much but they have been kind of rampant lately. I know this is probably really odd that I share this.
