You are able to get information about the state of your account it is just not being distributed in paper form. You can call our national 800 number and get the information from your record.
As far as saving money it does not cost Social Security money to extract the information from our database the costly part of the process is the paper that all that information is printed on as well as the postage for each and every statement that is issued.
You can conduct your Social Security business 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, by calling our toll-free number, 1-800-772-1213. You can speak with a representative from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on business days.
А мне бы интересно было иметь доступ к своему отчету online, даже удобнее было бы. И на марках сэкономим, и на бумаге.
Предлагают почему-то не отчет с моими отчислениями по годам, как было на бумаге, а прикидку, которой я должна верить:
