longer in the inbetween

I don't remember last time I posted, but I think it was probably around the time that I came back to LA. Things have changed significantly since then!

I got a new job at Isewan USA. I'll be training in Nagoya for a year.

I got married on February 28.

I only have a few (1?) weeks before I move back to Japan. Hopefully I can stay here until the 26th so I can see my sister before I go, but we'll see. I may have to move back by the 16th.

Oh yeah, I turned 30 yesterday.

Things are turning out pretty well so far, except that with all this back and forth between Japan and LA, my body doesn't know when to sleep. I'm really excited about my new job and future with Mayuko. I am looking forward to the apartment we're getting from the company while I train and I'm glad I can see my friends in Naggy again. I also have plans to publish a book sometime within a year or so, and I've been doing lots of translations of Japanese RPG books. My JRPG blog is starting to pick up, mostly with the Japanese visitors, heh. Anyway, I'm in a pretty good place now, and I hope it stays that way. I think I'll start to get really busy from here on out, and it's pretty obvious that LJ is pretty low on my list of priorities, so this may be the last this place will hear from me. Check me out on Facebook, mixi, d66roc.wordpress.com, on Twitter @d66roc, or aim. Thanks.
