How YOU can help
In a world gone mad, it get overwhelming. There's not a lot I can do for the crisis in the Middle East, but there's something close to home that effects many of my loved ones as well as my own future.
I've not really posted about the political battle going on in Wisconsin here on LJ but I have been pretty active about posting links and letters on Tumblr. I'll continue to keep this area of my political thoughts on tumblr for the most part, but I do want to spread as much news as I can.
A near and dear family friend who's a long-time activist and has had a lot of experience in organizing sent a great, informative letter with ways you can help show support. Also know that nationwide this Saturday there are rallies organized to show solidarity in every state capitol. You'll have to look up details online but I'm confident you can find the information. (I unfortunately won't be attending one, the timing didn't work out for me.)
