Camp NaNoWriMo
Yep, I'm going to camp! April is Camp NaNoWriMo and this will be my first attempt! I'm hoping to write for either my comics-bb or scifibigbang claims. I'm actually leaning towards writing Mentalist fic at the moment, though somehow getting in supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi type elements to work it for the big bang (besides which, I've long had ideas that weave in "real" paranormal phenomenon into the fandom). If that falls through, though, I plan to do Avengers fic.
I'm writing (ok, ok so I'm writing this post at work, SHHH) this to let you know that I've set up a sponsorship page to help fundraise for The Office of Letters and Lights - the folks who bring us NaNoWriMo events, the Young Writers Program, and more. As you probably know by now, I'm tight on funds as a current VISTA member but the OLL is a non-profit near and dear to my heart that I'd love to support any way I can.
I'm still working on "rewards" for my sponsors and I'm open to suggestions, but for now let me give you the link to my page and you can contemplate contributing a donation of any size - tiny, small, or ridiculously generous.
