E: the guy asked "you speak chinese, right?"
E: i was like, uhm, yeah,
E: he then asked "why didn't you speak chinese when you came in?"
E: i was like, haha, what?!
i: HAHAHAHA
i: dude yea..you should...he might give you a discount
E: half the school speaks chinese, and you don't see him asking other ppl

E: i was like, "oh, so you prefer ppl speaking chinese?"
E: he replied, "yeah, we're not from here, so it makes me feel closer to ppl when speaking chinese"

E: i think he gave me extra rice or something, hahaha

i: i wish i was fluent in chinese
i: then i could get extra stuff from chinese places

so today I went in there again on my way from VLSB. this beef dish on the wall display looked good, so i tried to order it.
me: can i have the minced beef plz?
老板娘: [面露不快]...(mumbled something)...
me: excuse me?
老板娘: [眼睛不眨的盯着我] 中文是什么?
me: 啊, 那个...我不知道...[根本就没注意嘛...]
老板娘: 咖哩牛肉? 蒙古牛肉?
me: [比划着双手] 就是贴在外面墙上的那个...牛肉...上面打了个蛋的那个...
老板娘: [瞪我一眼] 免治牛肉!
me: 哦, 呃, 可能是吧...

i sat down, got my minced beef with raw eggu.
过了一分钟, 老板娘端出一碗蛋花汤.
再过了一分钟, 老板自己出来了, 端给我一个煎蛋.
haha, i'm confused. i'd never gotten so many complimentary eggs before. is this part of their new menu or something?

...我又不是缺营养的人...吃死我了...
