Pour Lindsay....

I know I haven't updated in forever, but I just can't bring myself to sit down at the computer long enough to do it.

Two weekends ago was Bike Night here in York (for those of you that DON'T know, Harley-Davidson has a plant here, so, there are a shitload of motorcycles at any given time, and a lot of events for them). Basically what Bike Night was, wwas they shut down the streets in town from 6-10 and everyone parks their motorcycles on the sidewalks and streets and walks around and shoots the shit. Since Dave and I live smack in the center of downtown, we really couldn't leave the city, or we wouldn't be able to get back in until late. Sooooooo...we elected to tough it out, deal with the obnoxious Harley loud exhaust, and volunteer our efforts at the diner across the street, should they need some helping hands to feed all those hungry bikers. We helped them out a bit, looked at bikes, and got free cheesesteaks for dinner. Not a bad night at all. Saturday we went to Dave's friend's house, because their buddy from Houston had evacuated from Houston back up to Pennsylvania, so everyone was getting together.

The next week went quickly, and then last Friday we left to go to Ocean City, Maryland. I had never been, and the only time I've ever seen the Atlantic ocean was during a brief stop in Atlantic City during a rain storm. So I was pretty excited. We walked the boardwalk A LOT, and Dave flew stunt kites, and we played on the beach and bought things and ate delicious seafood. It wa a wonderful weekend away, since we couldn't really afford any kind of vacation other than that. My only complaint is that Atlantic beaches and sand are hard to walk in, compared to the Pacific version. I ripped my right calf muscle to pieces (or at least it feels like it....literally, it feels like it is no longer attached) and I've been hobbling around since Sunday A.M.

Just couldn't get the hang of that sand, lol.

Now it's back to York and "the grind"

Boooooooooo.

But this week is payday, so that's helpful. That's all I really have that's new and exciting, sorry I didn't write more for ya Linds!
