When it comes to books I'm not going to limit myself to books that were published this year as there's an infinite (in terms of how much time i have to read a shit load of books) number of books out there for me to read. Forbidden planet, London, had Mark Charan Newton signing copies of his debut book, " Nights of Villjamur" on Thursday. I met him at the sci-fi london meeting where he gave a talk on how to get a book published as well as some encouraging tips on writing sci-fi/fantasy (his day job is a sci-fi publisher so he knows both ends). The only good thing about having to spend 1 hour 10 minutes on the tube every day is the fact that it gives me 1 hour and 10 minutes of reading to do. This has resulted in me reading more this year than I have in the last 5.
