Lisa and I hung out today. It was très fun! First we went to Office Max, where I wandered around dumbly trying to find the flash drives (they're having a great sale on them this week!). After I finally found what I was looking for, we went next door to DSW. What a great store! I'm so glad Kalamazoo got one. I went to one with Avis over the summer and thought it was awesome. They have great sale racks in the back. Today, Lisa and I got matching sneakers. They're basically awesome. They're very bright, multicolored shoes. They border on the line of ugly, but they are just too cool to be ugly. And they were 70% off, making them $14. It was great. We went to Fourth Coast and drank chai and talked. The chai was delicious, and we left smelling like gross smoke. We came to my house and cooked up a giant pot of chicken alfredo, with brocolli and carrots and everything. It was so good, and actually pretty easy to make. Then we watched Steel Magnolias with my mom. I love that movie so much. It cracks me up. So today was a great fun day filled with lots of loud singing and a tonne of laughing.
Tomorrow I'm working for my dad. I must make money! I really just need to be a profession money-spender. It will be good to earn money again these next few days.
I'm down to my final days at home! I've got to try and make the most out of them. Lisa and I planned a little dinner get-together for a few friends from school, but Luther will already be back at school, so that's a bummer. Darn U of M! Then other time will be spent with Jack, squeezing out the remainder of our time together. We've had a good time this vacation, so hopefully this week will keep it up. We have a few things planned like movies, ice cream, and guitar playing. We were supposed to go sledding this break, but Michigan's wild weather messed that up for us. Instead of snowing, it rains. But, I can't complain too much. I don't miss the snow at all. We've found other things to do instead of sled, so it all worked out.
I should probably go to bed since I'll have to get up relatively early to work tomorrow. I've been sleeping in far too late for the past couple of weeks. Even I admit it's getting ridiculous. Eh well, I guess that is what winter break is for.
