Well as of August 4th, 2004 my company of ten years decided it would no longer seek production contracts, the day after this was announced the managment told the division that we were all going to be let go withing the next week. I am now not unhappily unemployeed because at least this way I got some severence pay. If I had stayed on I would probably have shown up at work some day to find the doors locked and then there would be no severence option.
