Why I'll never be a Mac fangirl, #664: I have to install a separate application just to be able to turn off the stupid startup fanfare sound. This is ridiculous. This is more ridiculous than a cross between a poodle and a cockatoo. That, right there, is me laughing in the face of Mac evangelists the world over. Ridiculous.
