Boom!
I did one happy thing today: I've been to a fantastic and geeky fireworks display.
How can fireworks be geeky, you ask? [1]
Easily - if they're set to a "superheroes" theme! Superheroes and science fiction, more like it - not that I objected ;-) - starting with the Flash (A-aaaah! He'll save everyone of us!), going through Doctor Who, Spiderman, Star Wars, and a lot of others I'm not geeky enough to recognise, but epic.
[1] I asked this myself, too, before I realised that modern fireworks displays are coupled with music. They may have been the norm for decades, who knows, but the first ones I've seen didn't have any music, so the music aspect is still new to me.
Worth one hour back and forth on the tube, greasy food, and mud on my trousers? Absolutely.
