What I'd like to be doing: retail therapy for: comfy, sensible footwear (my comfiest boots are coming apart, starting at the sole); comfy, colourful, more or less sensible dresses.
What I should be doing: grocery shopping. (The wind is blowing through my fridge, as we used to say.)
What I'm actually doing: trying to make the AO3 kudos even AJAXier, and to debug the mystery of their cache key. (It's ALWAYS caching.)
OK, no, what I'd really like to be doing is: walk through an autumn-tinted park, under an intense autumn-blue sky, and autumn-yellow sunlight, with a friend or two; pick chestnuts off the grass, peel their still-clinging thorny shell to reveal the shiny, glossy chestnut, and choose the best ones to decorate the flat.
