The laptop is working for now. Appears to have dried out nicely. I suspect it might have some leftover juice residue in there so on the weekend, if it's still working, I will take it apart and take a look in the compartments I can reach easily, give them a wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry again. Since installing Generations I have lost every single save that was in Barnacle Bay, one that was in Bridgeport and one from Sunset Valley.

All the ones from Barnacle Bay are basically GONE. The town is installed but the game says that the necessary town to run the save game is not installed and has blanked out the preview pictures for every single ( Read more... )
