OK, so 2009 arrived almost 23 hours ago for me but I'm sure somewhere, someone is still celebrating!
For your simming pleasure, I am about to bring you a new vamp overlay and two (count them! TWO!) evil witch overlays.
The first is a totally "illegal" Ephemera and Rensim blend for your vamps. Jamey Sanderson and Patricia Nolan agreed to turn for your sneak peek pleasure :)

That bask in the sun M&G interaction is downright freaky on a blind-looking vampire!
Don't mind the eyes. I think I worked out why I got that milky overlay and I've taken care of it. I just have to test again and make sure.
I made this overlay specifically for BC's Rime (her Christmas gift for LJ'ers download) because I thought she'd make a beautiful vampiric elf and she looked really great in the Ephemera skintone but I didn't want to introduce a new skintone into my game but needed a new vamp overlay... tl;dr this vamp overlay was made for BC's beautiful Rime :)
The skintones used for this are Ephemera's Vampire Style GE Skin and Rensim's Dumas Vamp overlay. If you look closely at Patricia's chest, you'll see that she's got the blue veins of the Dumas overlay showing but her skintone is a lot pinker than the pale pale blue you get with the Dumas overlay. If anyone wants to try out this overlay please let me know. I have asked neither Ephemera nor Rensim for permission to bastardise their work, so while I'm happy to share this via PM, I don't really want to actually publish it.
The two evil witch overlays I haven't started yet. I have PMed Mouseyblue for permission to play around with her Shattered and Ghost skintones and to turn them into evil witch overlays. I will post pics and will definitely publish once I hear back from her. Since I haven't even started making these yet I can't guarantee that once I make them I'll be happy with the result, but since the skintones look like they would look good as evil witch overlays, I think I'll give them a go. I'll probably be creating three different overlays per skintone - 75% opacity, 50% opacity and 25% opacity, so you get to choose just how different you want your witch to look.
If anyone has any ideas on what other skintones they'd like to see turned into vamp or witch overlays - speak up! I don't take requests anywhere else, but I'm happy for you guys to tell me what else you'd like to see, what skintones or eyes you'd like to have made into defaults, etc. As you know I'm game to try making defaults of most things - heck, I made default penguin eyes! LOL Keep in mind that if you request a default I will not keep it "private" but will publish it for everyone to enjoy. Unless it's made of something YOU made for yourself - in which case I'm happy for it to remain your sole property.
