Happy Holidays!
My Christmas was pretty good even if I slept through most of it. I started the day off with a broken lift at work that we couldn't figure out. Maintenance override should have let us move it, but wouldn't work for some reason. And then it fixed itself an hour later after we'd tried everything. :/ But then I got to go back to the office and attack the Yuletide site along with everyone else. My fic has the best summary and made me lol most of the way through. :D
And when I got home I was finally able to really examine what my mom got for me. I'd accidentally opened it a couple days ago thinking it was my new camera lens; the dangers of buying too much shit from Amazon, and giving all your relatives your Amazon wishlist. My haul from my mom. The sad thing is that my PS3 stopped working last week, so I can't even watch Star Trek right now. I'm hoping I'll get it back next week, but it was my most anticipated gift. :( And my grandmother got me the most adorable pair of slippers. Froggies! And then Jenn drew me a picture of Lady Gaga. I love it and am so excited that she's drawing again. :D
Then there was sleep, and when I got up Jenn had roast chicken with rice and potatoes and onions ready. I feel like I have a personal chef now that she's here. It was delicious, and I brought some to work with me for later. And now I just ate the last of my oatmeal chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies, which turned out great except for the one I tossed in the microwave and forgot about last night. That one turned black and the microwave still stinks. :(
But anyways, I hope everyone's holidays went well. ♥
