Happy Wednesday-Halloween~
Yay for Halloween! I got to wear my antithesis!Ed costume (http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=1201104) and it was made of win. I actually had all the parts (except the shoes, but I had other boots that were at least not my normal, white, tennis shoes) It's really windy and sunny today, so I had a lot of fun with the billowing and the coat and the me = looking cool and like I have style,poise, and prominence. ALso, yay for standing on benches waiting for people in the aforementioned conditions. xD Ah pat, what would I do without you? have a lot less fun adn self-esteem, that's what.
because it was halloween, I actually got a few happy looks, esp from other costumers. Normal people were so jealous....And that's the assumption I'm sticking to. Lol!
Still, I need more pictures of Antith!Ed; maybe I'll make someone take them at Pat's Halloween party this weekend. I like looking like this, you know? It's just a combination of a lot of good things. Yay turn of the century (au)! You are my favorite time period evar.... <3
The IT guy at one of the computer labs today was dressed as a gangster from the 20's. I felt very happy. Especially because of the slightly-purple striped workshirt, the suspenders, and the fedora. Oh, fedora of my happiness.... Ed would look horrible in one, but Roy looked pretty great in his.
i'm not going anywhere else today, so I took all the little pieces of my costume off already. But i really jsut want to stand outside in the wind and feel empowered. Don't like getting started at, having people staring and then leaving or thinking i'm a freak (when did this fear happen? I do not know), but I'll also fantasize about someone taking my picture over and over. Did You know that I have pitifully little pictures of this costume? not even any closeups of anything. D: And it's really rather dynamic. yes it's concept cosplay that you only recognize whe I'm next to another normal Ed, but then you really see it's brilliance, I must admit. And thepants make my ass look nice. What can I say, I love these pants and they will be seeing more use. I promise. (that's going out to you, cat; I can't deny that. xD)
My only other news is that now I really want to write zoofic after looking at pictures of bengal tiger kittens, I really really want to play 1503, and my teeth hurt. That's about it. Still working off getting sick; I'm going to clean therefore; and I actually have something scheduled every night this week after tonight. And my room is warm this year! No more getting cold this winter! :D
