Sort-of Fic Req, Daily Life Blahs, and Human Transmutation

If my cousin Kendra becomes an anime VA (which there are no signs of but w/e), we must all officially be pimp with her.

ALso, I had a really great talk with Pat today. It's fun to get together. :3 Uhrm...yes, I wish I could draw doujins. Sigh. If I could do it well, I think it might actually be faster that writing. Oh well. *sigh*

Hm, still working on fics, but my little muses left me! So maybe I'll just be working on pics and typing for a while. 9_9

Though, this fic I'm reading, though not necessarily the best written (and it was written for her own interests), has very interesting theories about the gate: That the gate itself is neutral, and just demands something for you to get use of it (doesn't even care what it is), while the beings inside it are greedy and take without equivalence. And you let it, because you think it can get away with it (IE, you think you are at its mercy and scared witless to begin with). Very, very interesting. Pat added that, with this idea, full-blown Human Transmutation has always failed because the people doing it have always been so invested in it, and "known"/expected it has a high price....A great circle of DOOM.

So, if you disregard truth-san(whom I pretend doesn't exist), and think of it only in anime-verse, it works really really well. (the gate simply is, and is the bridge between dimensions, while all the extra energy and unused/tainted human souls/souls that got themselves eaten by the gate (maybe) are hanging out in the gate, wanting stuff. Among other things, this is what her fic says. So, if you want to know more about that, I think it's become my gospel, and you can go read about it. It gets kinda wordy in the story, but w/e. I persevered at about an 88% comprehension rate; you can too!

It's #5, "Perfect After All" http://www.fanfiction.net/u/3261/Jaya_Mitai
