I went to the gym twice yesterday, and this morning I ran my 5K. It wasn't my best time, however I did manage to run 3 of the 5K. I usually run and walk on a time basis, but today I thought I'd try distance so I know how much I've actually run. I'll do a run again Thursday. My best time is about 39 minutes, today was 43ish. I'm still happy about it, especially since I haven't run in two weeks. Tomorrow I have a kettlebell workout, and a 40 minutes walk (at a pace where you can talk but sweat).
As for diet, well I'm definately eating more veggies, and as a result feel much less bloated. My chili and fajitas were really good (and tons of leftovers) and I made some ratatouie and it is really good (and spicy). I'm pretty proud of myself, since I haven't really cooked for myself, well...ever. I lived with bar fridge, microwave and toaster oven for almost a decade, so I don't really know how to cook for myself. My boss came in yesterday after I'd nuked my lunch and commented on how good it smelled, which made me happy.
Now if I can just figure out why my kitchen still smells like onion, I'd be content.
