21st LJ birthday!
Apparently I’ve been here 21 years. To be fair, I was here before that under a different user name.
Anyway I wondered how many of my OG friends on here still use the site? I’m glad I’ve met so many of them in real life and become fast friends with them. I guess having people in your lives for 20+ years is going to create some sort of bond.
It’s amazing how many people I met through the wonderful luka91 who sadly died before paramedics could attend to him way back in 2005. Apparently that’s 19 years ago but it still hits me hard every day.
One of those people was idahoswede who even became my flatmate for most of 2007. What an incredible lady and I even met others on here through her.
It’s been 2 years ago since she was cruelly taken alongside her husband, although the only silver lining is they were both killed instantly in a car crash.
What’s weird to me is their last posts before their deaths.
Luka wrote that there was a thunderstorm and idk the last post of his was oddly *fitting*.
idahoswede posted on her Facebook also about the weather and how it got warm suddenly and not in a good way, as it was too fluctuating . Again seemed almost prophetic as they died after the weather changed again to create an ice patch (presumably black ice, they were careful drivers!)
I don’t know why suddenly I went from having nothing to write, to having everything to write. Maybe I’m back? Nah. I’m just rambling. Huh. Maybe then, I am?
Who knows.
