Hi from Kuala Lumpur - almost
Free wifi on the KLIA Ekspres train....
So here's something that I was going to post on Facebook but didn't.
So for 200 ringgit I got a good value 3 day pass on the KLIA express (airport train)
It's usually 55 each way but this is a special ticket for the F1 to include 3 return tickets including transfer from airport to Sepang Circuit.
Was cool to travel with loads of red bull team people - and there was another team but they weren't wearing branded bags. I'm not going to support any racer or team in particular.
One of the team guys was talking to his friend on the shuttle bus at Heathrow and hated that he was flying in the evening and his (grand?) daughter was rushed into hospital. Sounds like a glamorous job travelling around with the crew, but it must be horrible to be so far away for so long. I like to travel but the dates are usually well planned out and I'm not obligated to go (i.e. Lose salary) if I don't get to travel. I couldn't be forced to travel far and wide for work, even without a family to directly care for.
Anyway I'm going to enjoy this heat and almost be grateful for losing a whole day, by getting to the hotel at dinner time - can go back to sleep.
