I didn't get around to doing anything except grocery shopping and working in the house yesterday, so no keyboard shopping or other errands. But I did get a lot done. Water and issues with water follow us wherever we live. I've had to dig up pipes, I've had collapsing walls, I've had large waterfalls of water flowing through my basement windows, and I've had pipes broken inside of walls requiring serious repairs. Last night we had another water problem *sigh* and once again had to deal with clean-up.

I got LASIK in my right eye in 2001 and my final follow-up appointment for that was in 2002. But since then I haven't had my eyes examined. In the United States, Monday is a holiday - Memorial Day. Although this holiday focuses on our troops, both current and past, it is also an opportunity to honor any of our dead. There is never enough time on my day off to get everything I need completed finished in a timely fashion. But, I did accomplish a lot. My quiet time is the early morning. I get up at 3:30 am to have 2-1/2 hours of quiet, uninterrupted time to catch up with the national and local news and the stock market. I read my emails, respond to product information requests, and write my daily blog. Easy, right? Not today.

We had a lazy Sunday, but that's exactly what I needed. I fell asleep early Saturday night (8 pm - that's virtually unheard of for me) and slept until 9:15 am Sunday morning. Guess I needed it :-) My nose is still running, I am still coughing but I feel tolerably OK. I'm happy I'm not doing any detail work right now though.
