Wow that was very very well written. Kudos!.....

I have ALL this thoughts and ideas but when I'm about to write everything comes ALL at once and the end result is a garbled piece of mess... so I read instead. Gives me peace of mind and whole new set of ideas and perspectives. And what I read here... I loved.

This Jeremy compulsion has really been very far fetched. Only thing I know and completely believe is that the compulsion was a wrong and screwed up decision of a large proportion.... but I think when desperation and like you said "love" for your ONLY living family becomes the reason your making choices... you're bound to make screwed up ones... multiple times even. I honestly believe that this is going to blow up on Elena's face yet again, and then she might have more problems that she can handle, BUT I guess I also get why she did what she did. So that's that.

About Damon's "He's so lucky to have you as a sister".....
Damon's in Love, completely and absolutely. And last time he was in love with someone he spent 145 years running, searching, pining and hurting himself for her, even after he found out that she tricked him. So taking every of his words by heart would be a little too .... much?

Lastly... I loved when Caroline called out on Elena's and Damon's "relationship" in Ep 4, I loved how Damon called Elena out on trying to "turn him into Stefan"... and etc. I just wish Damon or someone called her out on this decision as well.... an equilibrium would result then.

Anyway...Great Job!!

Thanks!!

Yep, it's a complicated thing and it's easier and more interesting to revel in how complicated it is more than anything else for me, I think.

Very true, Damon is a Fool for Love, it is known. So I would be entirely surprised if he didn't happily try to reassure her in that moment because a) he's Damon and (b) it's not like he's going to sit around and judge her, where on earth would he find a pedestal given all he's done?

I agree, the show isn't always consistent but there are some good moments where characters call each other out explicitly for whatever reason.

Thank you :)
