Good news everyone! On Monday I go back to the festival!! :D I'm very excited, even though the director is already giving me homework :\ My last day at the tourism office is tomorrow, and most of the tourists are gone so I imagine it will be quiet.
Last weekend was the cider festival, and I participated in a couple of activities, which is new because I never do anything xD I took part in a world record pouring cider (we were 7.576 people pouring it at once). Even though I've drunk a lot of cider I'd never poured it myself, and I must say I did quite good because I didn't throw half the bottle away! And it was very windy! Then the next day I went to the town square to sing some traditional songs. Again, never done it, didn't even know the songs, but I had a booklet with the lyrics and the music wasn't too difficult to learn. It was pretty amazing, the square was full and everyone was singing. We were probably the youngest in there xD but I had fun and I will probably come back.
I also went to the drive in cinema. I had gone when it first opened but never again. A couple of coworkers/friends (we've started doing things outside of work so I consider them friends too) suggested it and they were nice enough to call me so I went. The film was a Spanish comedy and it was just ok, but I enjoyed the experience. A shame that summer is ending and then it will be too cold to go xD We also went to see Super 8, which I loved. This time I went with one of the coworkers/friends who always complains of not having anyone to go to the cinema with, and it was lovely but strange because I'm so used to going alone or with my mum that other people's habits at the cinema feel weird. Like I never eat anything other than gummies and I bring my own Coke, but he bought a hot dog and a huge drink. If I had gone alone and seen somebody doing that I would have rolled my eyes so hard xDD I'm a snob, I admit it.
And last but not least, later this month I will be seeing Sam Mendes' production of Richard III with Kevin Spacey LIVE. It's part of the Bridge Project and they are bringing it to Avilés. The tickets go on sale on Thursday and I will probably go with my mum. It's not cheap, but alsdkfasdhfh.
