[ Souji is getting better at this. As soon as Rise finishes making her phone call, the front door opens. Souji peeks but moves in quickly. ]

Rise?

[ He spots her at the phone and raises an out-stretched arm. ]

[She sets the phone down and smiles (as much as she can manage) at him.]

[ Kikuri-Hime materializes behind Souji and Rise is imbued with the healing green warmth again. The bites, scratches and cuts heal and the pain dissipates immediately. ]

[She blinks a few times, a little taken aback by how abruptly he did it and how quickly the pain is gone. She recovers from her shock quickly and hugs him.]

[ He hugs her back. Tightly. He lifts her off of the ground for a big hug then sets her back down. His face is buried against her head. ]

[ He walks her back to the couch and pushes her. The back of her calves hit the seat and she falls sitting and Souji crashes next to her, sighing. He takes a few deep breaths, then turns, smiling to Rise. ]

[She giggles, and smiles back at him.]

[She doesn't know if she wants to bring up the other day or not. She bites her lip in thought.]

[ Souji takes her hand into his and squeezes it softly. ]
