Does that mean that you didn't like The Grapes of Wrath. . .if you didn't like it you totally moved up my list of people that kick ass. . . .I fucking hated that book, boring drivel from start to finish.

East of Eden was beautiful, but could easily be deemed as slow. But at least it had entertainment value. . .The Grapes of Wrath did not entertain me at all.

AHHHHHH!! I liked The Grapes of Wrath

maybe it's because we analyzed it and really got into the underlying stuff..? I don't know, but I thought it was good. Damn long, yes. buuuuuuuut anyway. you can just NOT add me to your list.

I analyzed The Grapes of Wrath for class as well. . .and there are some really beautiful passages and the underlying stuff is interesting, but it is simply not entertaining enough to make me give a shit about it in the least. Yes, it is cool to write something profound, but if you fail to entertain then you fail.

Grapes of Wrath kicked ass. I thought I was going to hate it when I first started reading it, because there was an entire chapter about a damned turtle crossing the street--an entire chapter! But I was wrong. Because that book is amazing.
