A verbal debauchery...

...eh, don't ask. I hope all is well with everyone and that the weather isn't stressing people out too much.

Ah, where to begin...Romeo et Juliet stagings are good. Major, MAJOR fun. Having spent a full day waltzing and sword fighting, I'm loving every single minute of it for sure. I absolutely love the opera chorus. All the fun of being on stage but without the added stress and pressure of having to do it all by yourself. Granted I wouldn't have a problem doing that...I've done it before, it's just nice to be performing and be in the background. I enjoy it. Good times. Let's see, the principles: Juliet, I hear has the most amazing voice. We have not heard it yet, as we had only seen her at one of our rehearsals. I'm sure she will live up to her reputation. Her sense of fashion is wicked though...pardon me, I am a gay male I can say that:p Romeo, we have not seen yet. I think he was finishing up a show at the MET. He should be in town now and I'm sure we'll see him at our next rehearsal, which isn't until FRIDAY!!! WOOO!!! Time off..it's glorious. Tybalt is a black singer...which made me smile...it's a tenor role and this guys is very good. Paris is a baritone role and this guy is also very good. Monsieur Capulet is a bass role and while this man's voice is very profound, I don't care much for it. Mercutio is of course a baritone and the guy performing has a typical baritione voice. It's nice. Hm, of course there's our own Ben Polite from opera chorus who plays Gregorio and we all know that his voice is some kind of amazing. There's Benvolio whom we have not met yet...and Gertrude, who is this scary looking lady..she's a barrell of laughs though...and scheisse..Stephano, the page boy...played by this gorgeous woman. I don't know what her descent is but she's beautiful. Uh and of course there is the illustrious Atlanta Opera Chorus..we rock! All in all, this will be a good show.

What else...In the planning stages of my trip to Chicago and to Denver. Looks like I won't have to shell out nearly as much money as I anticipated, which makes me very happy. I'm looking at about a two week trip...depends on how long certain people want me to stick around *smile* I'm getting really excited about this Chicago audition...I've heard that it's very laid back and the people are really nice...much different than the Met audition. Now that trip was amazing. New York was a blast. Then it's off to Colorado to hang with some friends, perhaps go skiing and spend some time with some perspective men for relationships. We'll see how it goes...I got some great advice recently...I just need to be who I am and don't sweat the small stuff. I am good enough and I need to remember that. I have wonderful people in my life and I love them dearly and vise versa.

Kevin got a car...well supposedly got a car. There was much drama surrouding that but he handled it with much class. He said his peace and was done. I'm proud of him. His mom would have been so happy. Greater things are in store for him...just gotta maintain that patience of his.

Um, Cha!

I'm very contemplative for some reason...I dunno why? It's good though...I'm in a good place mentally. I like it. Good times!

I think that's it for now...

Ciao
