Hey folkses! It's been a while, and now's time for a much needed and long overdo update.
Summer - My summer has been fantastic! Free from Mario and his awful personality. I haven't been happier in a long time. Went dancing a bit and had some fun times. Still haven't started lessons but I'll start those up soon enough.
Opera - Carmina and Pagliacci are fantastic and the chorus is going to be phenomenal! I can't wait to meet the director, conductor, and principles. We're gonna rock their faces off! They are not ready for our jelly.
Love - Hm, still nothing on this end of the spectrum. But as usual, I've met some really fantastic people and it seems I'm cashing in on some good Karma because there are a few hopefuls, either of which would be wonderful to at least date. I shall indeed keep you posted on that as events unfold. I did, however, get my summer wish, which was to go on at least one date. And it was MAGICAL! I had the most fantastic evening. Italian, Wine, superb conversation, and then an evening stroll. What more could a guy ask for. And it helps that the guy was super cute! YAY. We're still talking. Don't know where things are but I will continue to make an active and conscious effort to get to know him. We went dancing as well and that was fun. Way more fun that I anticipated, which was totally a good thing. There are still some other guys who have my attention at the moment but we know how often that can go flying out the window, cascading into oblivion. We shall see what the winds blow forth!
Singing - I feel like my voice is growing! Even though I haven't been able to study with Mrs. S, I still feel that being in the chorus and always making a conscious effort to think about my technique and my body is paying off. I feel myself becoming that artist that I want to be. I still have lots of growing to do and lots of studying to do, but I'm becoming much more aware of what it takes to really be a true artist. EXCITING!!!!!!!!
Friends - Kevin is fantastic! I feel we keep growing closer and closer. That Verbal Jouster can't help but keep me in debate but it's almost always a breath of fresh air. Keeps me on my toes. I like it. Tracy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We went out for her birthday and had a marvelous time. I haven't laughed in such a very long time like that and it was good for my soul. Andrew is still is crazy self. I saw him as much as my situation allowed this summer so I'm happy about that. We've still got much gaming to do. Josh has shown me a very kind side and I feel he will grow to be an amazing friend. I will try to cherish what we have. I'm slowly growing to trust him. Hm, haven't had much time to speak with anyone else this summer as it has been a very busy and productive summer for everyone. But to everyone else, especially you GA State folks, can't wait to see you in a few weeks *vomit*
