Finally...
After two months to the day of absolute AGONY, I had my IUCD (Mirena) removed. I was so relieved that it was gone that i cried for a good hour while my OBGYN rubbed my back. Only downside is that now i am back on Depo until my fiancee and I decide what we are going to do next :o(
The week then went like this...
Monday the hot flashes returned
Tuesday the crying over anything kicked in.
Wednesday i smashed five plates on our kitchen floor (yay for hormonal anger )
Thursday i ate everything that went past me
Friday i thanked the endo gods for allowing me to ride on this stuffing horrible hormonal roller coaster that is my life atm.
I ended up back at the doctors yesterday (seven days since it was removed) as i have caught yet another virus. I rang work to let them know that (surprise surprise) i wasn't going to be in for a couple of days and spoke to this colleague (most self absorbed person i have ever met) who told me, that she was having a bad period too and knew exactly what i was going through. ARGH!!!!
Anyway, thank you - really needed to have that little whinge - Now i am going to watch Pretty Woman and eat myself stupid with ice cream :o)
