I got this for free when I worked at ARC because it was so beat up and crappy I couldn't sell it. Anyone else would have trashed it, but not me! :D I'm sad to think of all the wonderful things that are being thrown away because I'm not there to rescue them ;_;
I like this afghan a lot. I've always wanted to make one or receive one as a gift. (I have a nostalagia for homemade yarn things because my Grandma used to crochet me fuzzy hats when I was little and I had a knit sweater from her that had been my aunts. It was really itchy, but I adored it)

These look really comfy. My mom's friend crocheted me some chicken slippers when I was about 10 and I still have them even though they are way too small. They were awesome. I think these would be super for college, so I thought you guys might like them too!
