Nice. I've got to go mail a package at the post office and then mom neeeeeeds me to come over and bake cookies and put up her tree today (I was going to any day now, but she's desperate to have it today and was annoyed I didn't yesterday when I was sleeping in after the party and then attempting to make my computer work just about all afternoon), and now she also needs me to pick up some prescriptions, though her caregiver is supposed to be going to her house this afternoon and has a car. -_- I would have said something about that, but Walgreens is on the way to the post office anyway. Although it does mean I probably won't be done at her house until after 6pm, so I'll have to walk home alone in the dark, which I don't really like since both my choices of walks have a block or two that don't seem terribly safe or well-lit. AND it's raining. Yay. I get to carry a bunch of cooking stuff with me too. And I have to visit Nate at work. And when I get back I get to make dinner and print things and all.
But, I do have Zelda. And I got a package from UPS today. Though I almost didn't get the package because the guy knocked softly enough that I thought it was next door. O.o UPS is supposed to like, ring the doorbell. So now it seems there's only like two delivery guys I enjoy. Because all the others either knock and ring the doorbell at the same time over and over, which scares me half to death, or knock so quietly I can't hear it, or leave the package at the door or manager's office. Lame.
Got four hours of sleep. Didn't eat yet. Need to remember to take mom the rest of the peanut butter cookies, since my part was given to Peter's party. Also, I didn't have time to farm yet.
And why on earth is Nate so anti-christmas? He hasn't done ANY Christmas shopping. Not even small stuff. And he's not drawing pictures for anyone either. And he doesn't care if I make cookies, didn't notice I put the ornaments on the tree (I put the lights on a week or two ago), and has decided he's going to spend Christmas day helping John move. Which means, YAY, another holiday spent by myself! Lame. But I'm trying to make myself some Christmas. I've been making presents (mailing Dad and Joy's today), baking cookies, decorating, and doing online Christmas stuff. I will not be defeated by Scrooge MacNate. Scrooge seems more Scottish than Irish, doesn't he? Nate wants to continue our movie project tonight, but I may tell him to sit on it and just watch Christmas movies myself. The only one he's deigned to watch with me so far is Die Hard. I've got Rudolph and Santa Claus is Comin' to Town and Muppet Christmas Carol and some Christmas movies on my hard drive. I'd have more if my computer were working, but I think I can get a couple more over the next few days. And I might borrow It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas from mom if she can part with them.
So to summarize, I'm rather grumpy over some things, but trying really hard not to be and doing pretty well at it so far. Oh, gotta go to Blockbuster this week to use my coupons for free PV's before they expire. Must remember.
