1) What are your feelings on NANA lately? and by lately I mean this once-every-three-months hiatus Yazawa takes
I'm loving Nana lately. I mean, I've liked it all along but now that Ren is gone ♥ we seem to be getting closer to the explanation as to why Nana ran off and nobody knows where she is, and then in the future arc to Hachi actually finding Nana again, it's really got me hooked in. Nana's one of those where I won't be sad when it's over, because I really want to know how it ends. Granted, Yazawa is the queen of depressing endings (I STILL HAVEN'T FORGIVEN YOU FOR PARADISE KISS, WOMAN!), so I can't say I won't be sad at the ending. But yeah, I really like the way it's going :3
2) Related to 1; how did you get into it/hear about it? How far up were the chapters back then?
Oh, hell, I barely even remember anymore. I know it was around the time the first movie was coming out, and everyone was all "OMG NANA!!!!!", so I decided to give it a try. I didn't get very far through the first volume because the art style really threw me off x3 I was like "holy jesus they're ugly. WHAT'S WITH THE FOREHEADS?" But then I watched the movie and really liked it, so I gave Nana another chance. I believe I had to marathon to like volume 15? So yeah, I was late in the game.
3) First Silent Hill game? Favorite Silent Hill game?
Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 2 :D one of the best games of ALL TIME.
4) If you could live in any fictional world of your choosing, which would it be? Why? (And what's the one world you enjoy watching/reading but would not want to be in personally?)
lol I've actually never thought about this before. I would probably want to live in Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' shapeshifter world, from her Kiesha'ra series. I could say a lot of stuff here about how nifty the mythology is and how wonderful the various cultures are (dancer's nest ftw!), and it would be true, but truthfully I would just love to be an avian shifter who can go into demi form and grow wings. I don't care what anyone says, that would be the best power ever.
Although DUH-HUH True Blood world comes in a close second.
Ahhh, that's EASY. Silent Hill u.u I realized watching the movie that if that ever happened to me, I would curl up in a ball and start whimpering and probably get hacked into itty bitty pieces by PH. True fact u.u
5) What was your favorite subject in school? Least favorite?
lol, school. That seems so long ago x3. Ahhh, my favorite subject was probably creative writing! I love writing and back then it was my thing, so I was happy to have a class that was just that. Although, I really enjoyed algebra, too~ Ooh, and psychology :D Least favorite...that's tough. Oh, wait, no it's not. GYM D:< GYM is the class of the devil u.u
Also, xemaya lies! I am not converted to Changmin fandom! I haven't spent the last couple of days listening to Mirotic anxiously waiting for Changmin's wonderfully melodic scream. Or watching the video waiting for the scene where he rises from the water. I also haven't been loving the crap out of Why Did I Fall in Love With Your Halo? and Sexy Purpleline. ALL LIES I SAY!
