Farmers Market notwithstanding, I was feeling quite down until I chered myself up with Reasoning With Vampires, one blogger's anguished response to wading through the prose style of Twilight.
And to stop myself burning through yet more candles, I entertained my brain with this essay by Alan Moore, in two parts. It's about where he thinks magic fits in the modern world, and is far more interesting than it sounds.
