Oh, Cadburys, I do worry about you.
If I had a god of chocolate, it would be La Molina, rather than anything scary and Aztec. When Anne of Austria (a Hapsburg-Spanish princess) married Louis XIII of France, she brought along with her a special chocolate maid called La Molina, who helped spread chocolate round the crown of Europe, and thus down through the social classes from there. Maybe if I pray hard enough, she'll put a Hotel Chocolat in the new Eagle Centre. Raising a human human to a god is very Roman, don't you think?
Ugh, I've got no energy for updating this. I'm being really anaemic right now, to the extent that I'm wondering where to get flavourless iron capsules. I can't cope with the taste of ordinary iron supplements, there's a nasty ten minutes where I wonder if I'm going to throw up.
Oh. They're closing my local Post Office. I can see the Abbey Street from my bathroom window.
