I committed poetry on Friday. I've been wrestling with one image/idea/piece for about six weeks, but this was not that. This just burbled out of me. I still need to refine it a bit, and I have sent it to someone I trust to read it BEFORE that is done, but I did it.
I did not complete NaNoWriMo. I was pretty sure going in that I wouldn't, but it got me started writing the Thing I want to write, and that was really my goal.
Now to just fit writing in with working on the bar application and working and the billion other things I need and want to do.
