I Made a Friend!
I made a friend today, yay!!! Ok, ok... Maybe not really a friend... More like an aquaintance who lives across the hall from me. It's just nice to be a part of humanity again. I've been bored out of my mind in this apartment... Anyway, I actually met him a couple days ago, but hadn't really gotten to talk to him. He seems pretty cool though. He was the friendly one out of the group of guys who live across the hall. He apparently took pity on me in my friendlessness and so he is going to take me hiking to see a waterfall tomorrow. Oh god... That sounds like a date doesn't it? Well I promise it's not!!! lol. It's good to get to know the locals because they know all the cool hiking spots. The only cool place I know right now is Garden of the Gods and that's more like a tourist attraction. :-p I went there today actually. It was pretty as usual, but there were way too many people there. I kinda liked it better during spring break in the snow because we were the only ones there. Ah well. Pictures of that and my apartment will be posted later...
As for the job interview, well, I'm thinking that will be happening later in the week or into next week. They're going to have to call me back and all that good stuff. I'm a little nervous about this job, not so much on the obtaining of the job, but more over how much I will like it once I have it. Meryl, I'm a little afraid it's going to kind of be like the Nelson Center, but we'll see... Who knows if I'll even get it.
