I'm working on it.
I am off to Calatagan tonight, two day bikini and nude shoot for one of Manila's better known models. Well, better known a couple of years ago. she's mostly under the radar now as she's finishing her studies.
Man, we're leaving Manila 2am! Grrr! Ms Model is officially one of the most anal people I know. Don't get me wrong, she's nice and all, but pretty anal. We have to get to Calatagan before sunrise as the first few layouts are all sunrise pictures. She's only alloting 30 minutes per layout, inclusive of set-up and change costume. Good luck. Can you believe she wants us to finish 2 dozen shots in less than two days? can anyone say dragon lady?
BUT it is an out of town shoot, and I'm sure we'll get good photos. Plus, the photos may appear internationally so ok na din.
Oh, did I mention I was on tv again today? I had a blooper, but I think I saved it. Haha. Ok, it's official: I'm getting used to tv na. Someone give me a show na kasi! *dies laughing*
Next week is a three day shoot in Caliraya naman. Hay naku, after more than a month of preparation, with the shoot getting rescheduled already, it only got confirmed yesterday! How in heaven's name will I pullout in time? Right now, I have clothes from four brands pa lang, that's kulang. I'm asking permission from at least two more to make sure, plus a couple of shoe labels. Hay, fashion talaga parusa sa pullout.
One thing's for sure with all of these out of town pictorials: I shall come back well and truly broiled. Can you imagine how hot it will be on the beach? The temperature's already burning in the metro, what more where I'll be hit by direct sunlight?
UPDATE:
It's 2am Sunday morning and I'm back home. We finished ALL the layouts in one day, o ha. I'm asar lang coz Ms Model decided to go home early so she can study. Ayun, nawalan na ng gana ang lahat to stay so we left early and went home. Sayang, we didn't get to drink. I would have liked to relax and have a bit of down time sana. I got tempted din naman to go home but I was one of the few holdouts who would have been ok with staying over.
One thing: I hope to god I never become as big a brat as Ms Model. Again, I'll reiterate that's she's ok naman, you can learn to live with her, but she's bratty and can be a bit of a bitch. Man, kawawa her assistant and driver. She's the type of model that I'll be hesitant to book for a paying gig. I'm sure she's very professional on paying gigs but something about her...I don't trust. I can't put my finger on it though. Basta, iba siya tumingin. Oh, and she loves to whisper stuff to people. That automatically makes her suspect in my eyes. For one thing, it's rude to whisper a looong conversation when there are other people around. In one day, I saw her do that at least three times. Whispering and having a private conversation is different eh. Basta, again something I can't quite put my finger on.
I spent most of the day under the sun so I'm sure I'm darker. I just don't know by how much. I do know that I have a bit of a sunburn on my upper back. I couldn't reach parts of it kasi when I was applying sunblock. *sheepish*
The house of the Diaz's is nice too, full of character. Since we only decided to stay a day, there were so many other layouts that we can still do. Hopefully, we get to return. The beach is weird though as it's often low tide. Low tide means a 10 minute walk from the shoreline to where the water retreats. Hassle. Plus, the water is full of sea grass and coral. One good thing about it is that the place is very private. There weren't a lot of other people so we could shoot bikini and nude layouts with no hassle from gawkers.
I'll probably post some pictures (the safer ones) when I get the cd so you guys will find out who she is. Basta, kaya naman ma-carry her personality pero may pagka-bratinella lang talaga. Ok her nude shots though because she's very professional about it. I like girls who are like that, walang kiyeme and treats those types of layouts as matter of fact. The layouts are very classy, no sensitive bits are seen. She doesn't have much, as far as boobs go so di talaga bastusin the shots. I hope the shots I like come out really well. She's a bit of a chameleon and can change her look depending on make-up but she does have angles that favo the shape of her face. I saw some shots that were unflattering to her strong jawline.
Anyway, I better go to sleep as I hear we're going to Tagaytay tomorrow later. Yey.
END OF UPDATE
I want to post more pics, but I'm not quite sure which ones. I have a million photos from the US trip left but that needs a separate entry, the time for which I don't have. I haven't had time to download the new pics on my phone so scratch that idea too.
Obviously my accessory collection. The ones pictured are circa 2004 pa yata. I've added so much stuff na to these. Right now, my accessories barely fit in the largest type of luggage you can handcarry on planes. You know those luggage with wheels? That's one of the bags I bring to all my fashion editorials, accessories lang ang laman. Sometimes I can't pullout what I need so I just use my own. Funny thing about me is that I love accessories but I hardly wear any on a day to day basis. I'm usually just wearing a watch. I have dozens of the prettiest dangly earrings but I hardly use them. At the most, I'll have one or two big rings on apart from the watch. Since I keep the accessories inside my maleta, the more I don't get to wear them because it's a hassle to unpack, and then re-pack afterwards.
I have a lot of earrings, as I mentioned earlier. Second place would be bracelets. Then my chunky rings. I would have more rings if I can but it's so hard to find the big, chunky pieces I prefer. I have few necklaces lang, and a lot of what I have are bling-blings for guys. I don't like wearing necklaces kasi (I hate anything near my neck, weird huh?) so I have a tendency not to buy them. I know, I better start collecting them too, specially the funky ones.
Ok, that's the only picture I have time to post. When I get back from Calatagan, I'll try to post more pics...vacation pics naman.
< EDIT AGAIN >
MAY 9, 2005
The Keys to Your Heart
You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.
In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved.
You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.
In this moment, you think of love as something you don't need. You just feel like flirting around and playing right now.
What Are The Keys To Your Heart? I hardly ever post quizzes and surveys and shit on here but this one made me grin from ear to ear. It's pretty accurate, maybe except the marriage part. Haha.
These are the most true though:
In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with. --This still doesn't mean marriage. :i
This line made me laugh:
In this moment, you think of love as something you don't need. You just feel like flirting around and playing right now.
Really, really laugh.
