I'm kuripot sweetie, kuripot na waldas. Ewan ko ba, I'm malabo like that. Haha. Basta ang Steifel usually P500 and above. Except stuff like the Oilatum bar na below P150 yung price--for a big bar of soap na super effective, ok na yun.

Make-up...I think drugstore brands like Revlon and Maybelline are ok for everyday wear. Heck, kahit nga Bench products ok na for everyday eh. I'm a fan of Bench kaya. Hehe.

What you are paying for with the more established brands like Mac are consistency in application and staying power. Let's face it, expensive brands usually have better colors, mas maganda ang application, mas matagal ang staying power on the skin.

As long as you find products that suit your skin and your budget, you're good to go. If you don't have to wear makeup naman as a job requirement (like models and artistas), di kailangan to spend for the pinaka-expensive brands.

Personally, I'm Ms Basic: I usually only put on colored lipgloss and powder. Since I'm on an "improve myself" jag, I try to be mas maarte when I have time. That means tinted moisturizer, powder, a little eye makeup (I wear glasses, I don't need much), some blush (mapula ako naturally), and the ubiquitous lip stuff.

Basta for me, the only makeup you ever really need is lipstick/lip gloss and powder. Mukha ka na naka-make-up pag may lipstick eh, tapos powder for oil control. If you need a little more color, add a little blush. Ok na yun. 5 minute application, tops.
