I wrote this Monday but I appended it to my last friends only post. I'm adding it to this post na lang coz it fits better...
Update on what my day was like today (April 4):
I slept past 3am this morning and was awake by 7am. I had to fire up the pc at once because I needed to finish the shoot list for my mommy magazine. Since that took several hours, I didn't even have time to prepare for my afternoon taping. I was late for that because I ran pa to Galleria to buy a new top. I was wrong my friends, the only really cute top at Dorothy Perkins was the one I bought last week. The rest are pang-mommy, as far as the tops go (some of the skirts are cute tho). Super simple polo blouses that retail for around 2k. Nu-uh, kung ganun din lang, sa Greenhills na lang. :P
I did get a top in Terranova. Kaasar lang coz in a store that was on sale, I had to find and like the one shirt that wasn't on sale. Pfft.
Oh, and I was on TV this morning. Which show? Homeboy. Ugh. I heart Boy Abunda but my god, medyo mahirap to talk in straight tagalog about fashion. They kept on reminding me that the target audience of the show were housewives and maids. Basically, they were telling me to talk down to them and super simplify what I was saying. Parang, ha? I don't think naman the housewives and maids in the Philippines are that dumb. Ayun, I was the "Queen of Um" again, as is usual.
Oh, and one big complaint: there were a million cameras used in that show! Gah! What I was wearing, it was for a camera facing me ONLY. Any other angle, I'd look like a tadpole. Fuck. So can you imagine? Most of the show I looked like a tadpole. I was wearing black pa naman. It'll look like I don't follow my own rules of dressing for your body type tuloy.
Man, I remember one of the directors (gay) came up to me and said, "Iha, in fairness, you're very pretty. Para kang si Ella V."
Ano baaaaaaaaa!!! That is so not a compliment ever. The thought makes me guffaw. I hope that vignette made you laugh as much as it made me laugh when it happened.
Anyway, in my rush to leave this morning, I didn't eat lunch na. Eh since I had to go to Galleria pa before I went for taping (in Rockwell), that meant I ate luch 6pm, when I got back to my house. Galing.
Taping went fast though. The girl we were doing the makeover on was surprisingly easy to dress. She was really thin kasi. She had no hips to speak of but since we were in Calvin Klein, everything fit her like a dream! Size ZERO mga friends! Sobrang kakainggit! Kahit walang hips, madaling gawan ng paraan because let's face it, Calvin Klein clothes fit twigs. And she ws a twig. :i
My TF for this one? More new clothes. Well, actually a free top. But since said top was from Jessica, top was almost 4k. Anobeh. It's a white cotton blouse. Cute but no way is it really worth 4k. Buti na lang free.
God, I work for clothes. How's that? Haha.
Oh, and a photographer called me up while I was on my way home. If I could style FIVE boldies daw tonight. Finally, I turned down a project! Congratulate me, hindi ako nagpaka-Superman. :D
I'm trying to distance myself from bold pictorials since I'm taking care of a mommy magazine AND a fitness/lifestyle magazine. Right now, I guess Uno is the furthest I can go skin wise.
So there. I better rest up. I'm really quite tired. I'm just gonna catch The Contender then off to sleep I go. It's another full day tomorrow...

I am going crazy. Too many shoots, too little time. If the Steifel shoot pushes through Saturday til Sunday, that means I have a shoot everyday from Thursday 'til Tuesday next week! I can't! I have to have time to pullout and source all the props I need. An assistant can only do so much. I have to be the one buying BUT I literally have no time to buy!
I am beyond needing regular help, I need a MIRACLE to pull this off.
I am not being overly dramatic here. Thursday, as I mentioned is a video shoot. I can't leave early because the damn director said he needed a stylist, not the art director (Raffy, who's assisting me for my next shoots). So now, while Raffy is free, I can't tell him to buy this, buy that. There's no way I can give him my credit card and people will believe he's Rachell. Nger. Eh we need anywhere from P30,000 to P50,000 to get all the props I need. Hello? Like I'd want to get that much cash out. No way.
To top it off, because of my crazy skeds, I haven't had time to pay my cellphone bills. Now, cut off BOTH lines. Damn it! How pathetic for me to have two phone lines and both cut off? At this point where the phone is my lifeline! Argh!
I shall update you guys later. I only have 4 hours to source everythig I need for Friday (20 layouts) and if the Saturday-Sunday shoot pushes through, add another 48 layouts to the mix.
O, crazy noh?
*shoots self*
Ok, one kulit thing that happened today: relatives in the US have been calling up the house. It turns out they have TFC and they got to watch the Homeboy episode where I was the guest stylist. Ano ba? I am international ever. Fuck.
Now I have to worry pa about the people in the States who might get to watch me? I know, I'm so weird. I love doing tv but I hate having people I know watching me. Crazy.
