Summary: Harry and Draco enjoy a special dessert.
For Valentine's Day, Harry and Draco chose to have dinner at their favorite Chinese restaurant, The Mandarin Palace. It was where they had gone on their first date--their first official date. Before then, they had gone out as friends quite often. It wasn't until their other friends began treating them as a couple that it occurred to Harry and Draco that perhaps they should try being a couple. That had been almost three years ago, and they were still together.
When they were finished with their meal, the waitress brought their bill along with the obligatory fortune cookies. "Today is special," she told them with an affable smile, "so the cookies are special, too." She was holding two baskets of them. "Naughty or nice?" she asked.
"Naughty!" Draco exclaimed with a huge grin. The waitress extended the red basket and allowed him to select a cookie. Draco gave it an experimental shake, quirking an eyebrow at the rattling noise it made.
"I suppose I'll be nice," Harry decided. The waitress let him choose a cookie from the pink basket she was carrying.
"Enjoy," she told them, adding she'd return to collect the check.
Harry opened his cookie first. "It's a candy heart," he said, delighted at the treat within a treat. "Mine says 4ever. Isn't that romantic?" He batted his eyelashes at Draco in an exaggerated flirtation. "What does yours say?"
Draco held his fortune cookie up to his ear. "It's not saying anything," he announced with a sparkle of humor in his eyes.
"Open it up to see what your candy hearts says, dolt," Harry told him, nudging Draco beneath the table with his foot.
Draco grinned and cracked the cookie open, deftly catching the small pink heart before it could land on the table. "It says I so bottom," he read, scowling at the piece of candy.
Harry's hearty laughter drew the attention of nearby diners, but he couldn't help it. "That one was obviously tailor-made for you," he smirked.
"Keep laughing," Draco hissed at him, "and it will be 4ever before I so bottom for you again."
