Rose was trying to study, but it was proving difficult.
Hugo and Albus were bickering about Quidditch. Lily giggled at the Scamander twins as Lorcan drummed his fingers on the table and Lysander's head nodded along to the rhythm.
Rose cleared her throat. Loudly. None of the others paid her any mind.
A shrill whistle pierced the air, and the library fell silent.
"Oy, you lot, Rosie would like to study."
Rose smiled. "Thank you, James."
"Who is responsible for that racket?" demanded the librarian.
James jumped up and gathered his books. "I have to go. See you all later!"
