After feeding Livvie, Draco shifted her to his shoulder and gently patted her back. Several moments passed, but she didn't burp. Livvie began to cry.
"Shh," Draco soothed, patting her back a little more firmly. Livvie cried harder. She sounded in distress, and Draco felt like crying, too.
Potter peered around the door. "What's wrong?"
"I can't get her to burp," Draco said, his voice hitching.
"Let me try," said Potter. He took Livvie from Draco and began walking and jouncing her ever so slightly as he patted her back. She responded with an unladylike noise and immediately quieted down.
