August has gotten off to a sucky start, with gawd-awful heat, flash flooding, and Covid. FML.

Cheerful birdsong trilled from outside, which only aggravated Charlie further. Being brought low by an ailment was never fun, but summer sickness was by far the worst. Charlie was feeling quite sorry for himself until Neville bustled in with a tray.
"I've made you some soup and tea," said Neville. "It will have you feeling better in no time."
Charlie sat up and sighed. "We were meant to be enjoying your belated birthday celebration at the Leaky Cauldron tonight."
"The celebration is already belated," said Nev. "What's another day or two? Besides, this way I have you all to myself."
