Summary: Draco talks Harry into taking a day off.
Draco leaned into Harry as they walked, side by side, along the cobbled streets of London.
"Aren't you glad you took the day off?" he asked.
Harry took in a deep breath and released it slowly. "Yes," he admitted. He'd been so wrapped up in his duties at the Ministry that he hadn't taken any time to appreciate the change of seasons, nor his husband. "I've been a tad mental lately, haven't I?" Harry said with a wry smile.
"That's why it's important for you to take time away from the Ministry," said Draco. "It's okay to slow down, Harry. The Ministry won't descend into chaos if you don't show up every day."
"I know that," said Harry. "I just need you to remind me of it from time to time." He pulled the brim of his hat lower, shielding his eyes from the glare of the late afternoon sunshine. It was a beautiful day, and Harry was glad he'd been able to enjoy it. He was especially glad he'd been able to spend time with his husband.
Harry looked over at Draco and smiled. He had a lot to be thankful for.
